McShane is super again!! • • • • • (bewertet mit 5 von 5 Punkten) Alle meine Rezensionen ansehen (REAL NAME) Rezension bezieht sich auf: Dick Francis - in the Frame [VHS] [UK Import] (Videokassette) One of three Ireland - Canadian telly productions starring Ian McShane as David Cleveland a security expert for the horse-racing in England, with Avenger's Patrick McNee as his boss. This time he is visiting a friend's party. When one of the guest's wife returns home on an errand, she finds the house has been robbed. Calling the party to tell her husband, he hears an explosion on the phone. Someone left a bomb in the sacked house destroying all evidence and killing the wife. Later while at the funeral, someone comes and robs Cleveland's friend as well. It is clear this done by the same people that robbed and killed the other man. Cleveland finds out it is linked to am art forgery ring that take him to Europe to discover who is behind the robberies and deaths. A very enjoyable mystery, with McShane well worth the ticket. Though they are loosely based on Dick Francis' mysteries, I suggest fans park their Francis-ease at the door and just enjoy and judge the movies for McShane's performance. I also suggest buying the DVD instead of video because all three of the movies are contained in one set for hardly more than the cost of one video. Eine Rezension von Ein Kunde vom 6.
